Balenciaga denim jacket // Ashley Rowe top // B Sides x Levi’s jeans // Le Specs sunglasses
Marc Jacobs x Julie Verhoeven bag // Bottega Veneta storm boots
You guys know I love a double denim look.
For the third day of NYFW I wanted to keep things casual with a Canadian tuxedo. My turtleneck is actually denim too. Do I get extra points for triple denim?
Usually, the way NYFW plays out is you hit the ground running hard, and then things taper off. It works well for your mindset as well as your outfits because after 2 full days of shows, you’re ready for a reprieve. This comfortable look couldn’t have worked better for what I (would have) had in store.
For NYFW FW20 Day 3, I pulled several pieces out of archive. You’ve seen this jacket, this top and this limited edition handbag before.
I snagged these Levi’s (a collaboration with denim line B Sides) on super sale. The patchwork effect is awesome – each pair is unique and pieced together from recycled denim.
But the real hero of this look are my boots. I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of combat boots for 3 years. While I found a great black pair in these vintage Docs, I wanted a brown pair for a softer touch.
After months of searching and scouring the internet (they were sold out), I found them. When they arrived, I about died. Super comfortable. Super badass. I couldn’t love them more.
